Italian soldato of the Pavia Division.  This particular division fought throughout the North African campaign.  It was effectively destroyed at Alamein.  This is the earlier tropical tunic used by the Italians and saw use alongside the sahariana and continental wear in North Africa.  This mannequin represents what a truck driver or artilleryman could be equipped with.  M91/28ts and carcano bandoleer.  M42 tropical bustina.
Italian Bersagliere(Sharpshooter) of the 3rd Regiment.  This particular regiment served in Russia during WW2.  He wears the windcheater used by Alpini and motorcycle bound Bersaglieri.  He also has the earlier m33 gasmask that was later superseded by the m35.  He also has a battery powered field light to help him coordinate movement by night.  Period goggles for keeping the dust out.  Original helmet.
